The flight nurse position will be responsible for preplanning, response, care, treatment, and transport of patients for LifeTeam. This position will work closely with the Regional Manager; as well as the base operations managers, aviation staff, other flight nurses and flight paramedics to accomplish the mission of air-medical transport. They will also work closely with outside EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, communication, Emergency Management, and hospital departments/agencies to assure safe, timely, efficient, and patient care oriented transport.

Reporting Structure: Regional Manager

Schedule: Scheduled Flight Nurse on-duty shifts equal 10 – 24 hour shifts per month full-time OR minimum 3 – 24 hour shifts per month part-time. Actual base assignments will vary month to month with program/needs.

Minimum Qualifications for Application:

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in Kansas
• 3 years or greater nursing experience in an ICU, Emergency Care, and/or air-medical transport field
• Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC or PHTLS provider (Able to obtain within 6 months of hire)

LifeTeam is seeking to hire a part-time/on-call EMT to work in our Wichita area ground ambulance. Minimum Qualifications for Application:

• Kansas Certified EMT-Basic
• Must meet the core job functions and job qualification standards for EMT
• Must reside within 20 miles of the Wichita city limits
• Must posess a current drivers license in State where employed except where exempt by State regulation
• Current adult and child CPR certification
• Must have an acceptable driving record as determined by LifeTeam
• Must be at least 25 years old
